When the system has failed to be equitable, what do you do? What do you do when ACCESS, PARTICIPATION, COMMON OWNERSHIP, and HEALTHY COMMUNITIES are not distributed?
A group in Detroit (the Detroit Digital Justice Coalition) is serious about doing something. They are building it themselves.

Then take a few minutes more to think about what you can do wherever you are to support, build, and make something better than what the market is currently doing. Chances are that some group has altered the playing field in some way to someone's advantage at the cost of someone in the system – but the good news is that you and I are someone's too, and we can alter it to be better for all.
I can tell you one thing I am going to be doing: I'm traveling to Detroit to meet these folks to hear more about what they are doing and what they need to do more of it.
